Hi, I'm Logan.
Creative Technologist & HCI Researcher
I am a game designer working on learning how to create intuitive interfaces
About Me
I am a Computer Science Game Design student at UC Santa Cruz, I am interested in working in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and interface design. I am interested in researching how tools like LLMs can act as collaborative partners.
Selected Projects
-
Layered Selection Prompting
I was a member of the lab that researched, and developed Layered Selection Prompting, a tool for LLMs to work on tile based maps. The goal is to create a mixed-initative co-creative level editor that allows for LLMs to asisst artists in level design by taking care of arbitrary tasks, while freeing designers to make high level choices and have the map reflect that in realtime.
Technologies: LLM, JS -
Astroframe Prototype
I am currently a team of 6 on my capstone project, AstroFrame. It is a spaceship buildng game where players build, fly, and fight spaceships then use the wreckage to repair and improve their own ship. We are aiming for a steam release in June.
Technologies: Godot, Figma, Gimp, Blender -
Slugbotics ARM
I joined UCSC's robotics team, Slugbotics, and helped develop the CAD designs and software. I later led the team in continuing more software.
Technologies: Python, OnShape -
3D Climbing Controller
I assisted on an open source movement controller in godot, by implementing a climbing controller to go with the standard walking, jumping, and water movement.
